Race Recap – Big M “State Championships” – A Family Affair
We still think of MiSCA as our state championship series, so don’t worry racers nothing has suddenly changed. However, adults like to race too, and in the era of COVID-19 we are immensely thankful that Fun Promotions decided to host a CPS State Championship race to replace the MMBA Championship Point Series that normally runs all summer. In a typical …
Year-End Socially-Distanced Celebration
COVID didn’t cancel standing 6 feet apart from each other and telling stories. It hasn’t canceled Foot Down or Slow Bike Races, and it certainly has canceled riding singletrack in the dark. 2020 Season Wrap-Up – High School Composite State Champs
All good things come to an end! The 2020 season started with questions about whether or not we’d even get to race, with socially distanced practices in June, questions about all sports, and a hope that we’d get to do any racing this year. The full, uninterrupted, cancellation-free season wrapped up this weekend with an exciting day of racing at …

Milford Race Review – Challenges make champions!
Yesterday was mentally and physically exhausting for our racers. Conditions were epic, with standing water, greasy mud, cold rain, and temps in the 40s greeting our morning riders. Our afternoon riders had dry skies, but the mud turned to thick peanut butter slowing them down on every climb. If you raced, you should be proud of your accomplishment! It wasn’t …
