We train in packs. You’ll generally be with the same pack each week, ensuring consistency of coaching, the opportunity to build team camaraderie, and a group of riders that are roughly the same speed as you are.
Each pack rides with 3-4 coaches each week, ensuring we have enough support to work on skills, sweep (it’s been almost 5 years since we lost anyone in the woods!), and lead a ride. We’ve listed leads coaches here as L (L=LEAD), some coaches may float around week to week based on pack needs.
Note on Pack Placement
Our goal is to place each rider in the pack that best matches their skill level and goals to ensure a fun, safe, and challenging experience. Coaches will continually monitor pack dynamics and make adjustments as needed throughout the season. We will check in a couple of times over the summer, once after the first few weeks and again mid season, to make sure everyone is in the right spot and having a great time.
