Calling all coaches! Registration for our 2022 coaches is up and running through MiSCA’s system.
We will set our rider registration caps based on how many coaches register. To ensure we have a safe ratio of riders to coaches, we are getting coaches signed up first. We will open up registration for riders in April. Until then, the more coaches we get signed up, the more slots we’ll have to riders. #SENDIT
To register as a Coyotes Coach for 2022:
- Register for MiSCA as a Coach by registering through the Coyotes registration page at CCN Bikes (the registration system MiSCA is using for 2022).
- Complete the full registration.
- Check your email for a message from CCN Bikes with the subject “Please Complete Your Background Check.” You’ll need this to complete the required criminal background check. It takes about 5 minutes to go through the entire process.
- We will add you to our mailing list at MailChimp. If you receive a confirmation from MailChimp, that’s why. Please accept it as we use this tool to communicate everything that isn’t an emergency (i.e. look-ahead to practice schedules, clinic info, gear shop anouncements, etc).
- Please register for and install the Band app on your phone. T
- Join our Band: https://band.us/@wmcoyotes Band will host our practice schedule, gear swap, carpool planning and we’ll use it to announce last-second changes to locations, race-day pre-rides, etc. Everything that doesn’t go in our newsletter will be in Band.
If you have any questions, email wmcoyotesmtb@gmail.com and we’ll do our best to help. We’ll also post the questions we receive on this page so you scroll down to see what others have asked.
Occasionally Asked Questions:
Is it just me or is this system really slow?
It’s not just you. It’s really slow. Just pour yourself a beverage and settle in. It will eventually work for you.
The coach signup asks questions about my skill level and racing experience. I’m not sure what to put. Help?
We’re just trying to get a sense of where you’ll fit as a coach. Don’t sweat the details too much. Nothing’s set in stone and we can always move you to a different practice pack if we need to.
The background check is asking for some really personal data. Is that really necessary?
It might seem like an overreach, but this is how MiSCA has it setup and they’re just trying to keep kids safe. Every MiSCA coach across the state is going through this exact same process.
If I sign up to coach is my child guaranteed a slot on the team?
Yes.
