New State Champions!
The West Michigan Coyotes had a lot to celebrate this weekend, as we crowned some new State Champions. Our riders gave their absolute best, and the results showed it. The dedication and hard work they put into training paid off in spades, and we couldn’t be prouder of their achievements. Kudos to all of our champions – you truly earned those titles!
Saturday’s Moist Adventure
The weather on Saturday was, to put it mildly, rather moist. But you know what? Our incredible kids didn’t let that dampen their spirits. The lower elementary races were off to an exciting start, with rain coming down and trails getting muddier by the minute. What could have been a recipe for disaster became an adventure in itself. Our young riders reveled in the slippery conditions, making the best of a wet situation and showing us all that they’re made of strong stuff. They didn’t just race; they had fun shredding through the woods.
Saturday evening was the annual coaches race which had the theme of Saturday Morning cartoons. Some fantastic costumes out there this year!
Sunday’s Rainbow Morning
Then came Sunday, and it was a magical morning. As if the weather knew we were in for something special, we were greeted by beautiful rainbow skies. The sun was shining and set the stage for the varsity riders. It was as if Mother Nature herself was cheering for our team.
Did you see some of the sweet jumps out there? The team embraced the #sendit mentality!
Fantastic Teamwork and Cheers
The fantastic part about this weekend was the spirit of teamwork that pervaded our entire team. It wasn’t just about individual wins; it was about supporting each other, pushing limits, and achieving greatness together. Our JV and middle school riders were rock stars, giving their all and proving that they’re a force to be reckoned with. The cheers from the sidelines were deafening – the love and encouragement from parents and supporters were incredibly heartwarming.
A Tribute to Our Graduating Seniors
As we bid farewell to this MiSCA season, we also bid farewell to our graduating seniors. They’ve been the a huge part of the West Michigan Coyotes, leading by example and making sure the kids are all having fun. To you, seniors, we say thank you for your dedication, sportsmanship, and leadership. We know you’ll take the spirit of the Coyotes with you as you move forward.
Thank you for riding with us, sharing stories and we wish you all the absolute best!
