Heritage Park Race Review

In its third year as a MiSCA venue, Heritage Park served up some great racing on a course that combines fun and flowy singletrack, sandy loose corners along with some wide two track for passing. The weather was cool in the morning and fairly warm in the afternoon which made it a great day for racing!

On Saturday, the sun was shining as our riders geared up for a day of adventure on two wheels. With the smell of freshly cut grass and the buzz of excitement in the air, the atmosphere was fantastic.

Once the races were wrapped up on Saturday, the 2nd annual Mini Bike World Championships kicked off and it was awesome! If you haven’t tried to ride one of these, you should.

The Heritage Park trails lived up to their reputation, providing plenty of thrills and spills. From fast descents to log obstacles, riders faced challenges that demanded focus and resilience. There were a few spills along the way (including a crash at the start of the Novice 6-8th grade girls race), but what was truly impressive was how quickly riders bounced back.

The MiSCA Heritage Park Race showcased the very essence of mountain biking: a sport that combines skill, determination, camaraderie, and a deep love for the outdoors. Our riders demonstrated that they are not just athletes but ambassadors of our sport.

Just a few podium shots from the weekend (sorry I did not catch them all).

Check out the start of the 6-8th grade Novice girls race!
