Cyclocross, or CX, is not an official part of our Coyotes season typically, but with most non-MiSCA races canceled this year, several Coyotes showed up to test their mettle at the first Kisscross CX race of the year (Richmond Park in Grand Rapids). Because these are all-ages events, we had parents and coaches racing too! The series is cheap, simple, low-key, and really fun. You can see their schedule online, and if your Coyote is looking for something to do when MiSCA wraps up, there are several Kisscross races on the calendar for late October through Mid-November.
Also, a special thanks to the Hughes Family and other Freewheelers for setting the course. We’re pretty sure Will didn’t pick that horrible sandy run-up or the sketchy pine needle downhill, but one of you is to blame! 🙂
